Bella Shmurda Alleges $4 Million Property Scam, Appeals for Help.

Popular Nigerian singer Abiola Akinbiyi, professionally known as Bella Shmurda, has alleged that he fell victim to a multimillion-dollar property scam after paying $4 million for a property in Lagos State.

The singer claimed that he later discovered the property did not legally belong to the individual who sold it to him, raising concerns that the building may have been stolen property.

Bella Shmurda made the allegations during an emotional Instagram Live session on Tuesday, where he became visibly distressed while appealing to Nigerians and relevant authorities for assistance.

According to the singer, the incident has left him devastated because the money invested in the property represented the reward for years of hard work in the music industry.

He lamented that he could not come to terms with losing such a substantial amount, describing the situation as one of the most difficult experiences of his life.

Bella Shmurda further alleged that after receiving payment, the individual who handled the property transaction became unreachable, leaving him uncertain about how to recover his investment.

He claimed that every effort to contact the alleged seller had proved unsuccessful, adding that the person had disappeared after completing the transaction.

During the livestream, the singer made an emotional appeal for intervention, saying he feared losing the entire amount invested in the property.

He disclosed that he had already contacted his lawyer to investigate the circumstances surrounding the transaction and determine the appropriate legal action to pursue.

However, Bella Shmurda did not reveal when the property was purchased or explain how he eventually discovered that the alleged seller lacked legal ownership of the building.

He also withheld the identity of the individual involved in the transaction and did not disclose the exact location of the disputed property or provide information regarding the title documents.

Similarly, the singer did not clarify whether the purchase was conducted directly with the seller or through estate agents or other intermediaries.
