Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi has shared a touching story about the unwavering support she received from her husband, Stan Nze, after landing a movie role that paid significantly more than he was earning at the time.

Speaking during an interview on Morayo Afolabi's YouTube show, the actress reflected on an experience from 2017, when she was offered ₦600,000 for a role in the television series Castle and Castle.

According to Blessing, she was overwhelmed with excitement after receiving the offer and immediately shared the good news with Stan Nze, who was still her boyfriend at the time.

Rather than feeling intimidated by the difference in their earnings, Stan reportedly responded with encouragement and genuine happiness for her achievement.

Blessing revealed that although the highest fee her future husband had received for a movie role at that time was ₦100,000, he held her hands, prayed for her and declared that her success was only the beginning of greater things to come.

She recalled that Stan reminded her of her potential and encouraged her to embrace the opportunity with confidence, assuring her that she was destined for greater accomplishments in the film industry.

The actress said his reaction demonstrated sincere love, selflessness and belief in her abilities, noting that he celebrated her progress instead of comparing their careers or allowing financial differences to affect their relationship.

Blessing added that the experience remains one of the moments she cherishes most because it revealed the kind of supportive partner Stan Nze was long before they got married.
