Actress Victoria Inyama Claims Pastor Was Prevented From Helping Alex Ekubo

Victoria Inyama Claims Pastor Wanted to Fund Alex Ekubo's Medical Treatment

Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama has alleged that a prominent Nigerian pastor made several attempts to assist the late actor Alex Ekubo with medical treatment during his illness but was repeatedly denied access.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Inyama claimed the cleric was willing to finance Alex's treatment anywhere in the world but was consistently told that the actor was doing well and did not require assistance.

According to her, the pastor made repeated efforts to establish contact and offer support, but those attempts were allegedly blocked by individuals close to the late actor.

The actress further claimed that the pastor was only informed after Alex had passed away, leaving no opportunity to provide the assistance he had intended.

Inyama stressed that the pastor's proposed intervention was not centred on miracles or spiritual healing but on practical support, including paying for medical treatment wherever necessary.

She suggested that advances in cancer treatment have created multiple medical options that could have been explored if access had been granted.

The actress also expressed sympathy for Alex's young son, describing him as particularly vulnerable during the difficult period.

Her remarks come shortly after members of Alex Ekubo's family publicly accused the late actor's stepmother of preventing relatives and well-wishers from reaching him while he was receiving treatment. The family also alleged that contact was only made after his death.

The latest claims have added another dimension to the growing public discussion surrounding the circumstances of Alex Ekubo's illness and final days. However, the allegations made by Victoria Inyama have not been independently verified, and those mentioned in her statement have yet to publicly respond to the claims.
