Nigerian rapper and singer Ice Prince has disclosed that his former smoking habit came at a huge financial cost before he eventually decided to quit.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Black Box podcast, the “Aboki” crooner revealed that he spent approximately N340 million on cannabis between 2020 and 2026 through a single supplier based in Lagos.
According to the artiste, the amount only covered purchases from one dealer and did not include expenses from other suppliers he patronised in Abuja, Jos, Ghana, and London.
Ice Prince explained that reflecting on the amount of money spent on smoking became part of his motivation for making major lifestyle changes.
The rapper stated that he eventually gave up both smoking and alcohol as part of a personal transformation journey focused on weight loss, improved health, and self-discovery.
He also disclosed during the conversation that he has remained celibate for a period of time as part of his efforts toward personal discipline and self-improvement.
